"IBM Corporation [NYSE:IBM] has software that enables Linux developers to readily create Web pages without prior HTML knowledge."

"Part of its move to make all of its products Linux-ready, IBM announced during a WebSphere launching in Bangkok, Thailand last week the availability of its WebSphere Homepage Builder version 4. The release of this what-you-see-what-you-get (WYSWYG) HTML editor is set for July 31, 2000."

"WebSphere Homepage Builder is a Web site development product called WebSphere Studio that is being sold in Japan, according to Lee Nackman, director of architecture application and integration middleware, IBM Software Solutions. Technically, Homepage Builder is likely going to compete with Microsoft's FrontPage whose version 5 set for release also on July 31, is designed to run on Windows 95, 98, NT, and 2000."
