"Omnis Technology Corporation (NASDAQ SmallCap: OMNS) today
confirmed the appointment of Geir Fjaerli as Vice
President responsible for the new Metamorph division. Metamorph,
which was recently acquired from Paradigm of Australia, is a Rapid
Application Development tool, based on Omnis Studio. It
standardises the production of Structured Query Language (SQL)
within a 4GL RAD environment, and regulates the visual aspects of
an entire project, no matter how large."
"Mr. Fjaerli, currently Regional Manager of Omnis Software in
Scandinavia, has many years of experience in both software
programming and business management. He has been responsible for
the Scandinavia region for the last five years and is also an
expert in object oriented programming."
"Mr Fjaerli said "I'm delighted to have been given the
responsibility of bringing the benefits of Metamorph to the
business software development community. It will allow
organisations to produce critical business applications more
quickly, with less time required for debugging and testing before
deployment. In a fast moving environment, the ability to keep
mission critical systems at the forefront of business practice is
exactly what companies need to maintain a competitive edge."
