"Alias/Wavefront, an SGI (NYSE:SGI) company, today announced
plans to port the entire Maya 3D software product line to the Linux
platform. Responding to demand from leading studios worldwide,
Alias/Wavefront will deliver Maya on Red Hat(R) Linux in early
