"At the LinuxWorld Conference & Expo, Linuxcare, Inc., a recognized leader in providing comprehensive professional services and solutions for Linux and open-source technologies, unveiled a new software wizard that simplifies and speeds installation of OpenMail, Hewlett-Packard Company's (NYSE:HWP) strategic messaging and collaboration solution for Linux and UNIX. HP's configuration wizard for OpenMail for Linux will be demonstrated this week in both HP and Linuxcare booths at the conference, numbers 1838 and 1308, respectively."

"The OpenMail for Linux wizard graphically guides the installation and configuration of an OpenMail server, and is designed primarily for first-time users setting up OpenMail. Enhancing OpenMail for Linux usability will further extend its reach into organizations that have Linux or mixed computing environments, and where an office or department may lack a dedicated IT manager."

"HP is committed to the success of OpenMail on Linux, and our new wizard will remove setup hurdles on this important platform," said Nigel Upton, general manager of the OpenMail business at HP. "Working together with Linuxcare on this product ensures that we have taken into account the complete needs of our Linux customers."
