"Atipa Corporation, a leading provider of end-to-end Linux and
open source solutions, led all exhibitors at last week's
LinuxWorld Conference and Expo by winning three of the ten "Show
Favorite" awards presented for outstanding products. Atipa products
were chosen as Show Favorites in three categories: Servers,
Hardware/Hardware Peripherals, and Software Utilities."
"Last week's LinuxWorld Conference, one of the largest
gatherings of Linux and open source companies to date, attracted
approximately 21,000 attendees. According to event sponsors, over
70 companies entered over 100 products in the awards competition.
Atipa won the Show Favorite awards for its Firewall and Firewall
Plus and for its File Server and File Server Plus, two new Atipa
product lines that the company unveiled at LinuxWorld, and for
BRU(tm), the leading Linux backup application developed by Enhanced
Software Technologies, a subsidiary of Atipa."
"We spend a great deal of time getting to know the requirements
of our end-users," said Marc Torres, Chief Technology Officer for
Atipa. "Perhaps more importantly, we anticipate their future needs
and then apply our technological expertise to build-in the
capabilities required to meet those needs. These awards demonstrate
how Atipa solutions successfully connect with customer expectations
while lowering their total cost of ownership."
