"Canadian software company Corel, which makes WordPerfect and CorelDraw, said it is laying off 139 employees at its Dublin office--or about 10 percent of the company's work force worldwide--to save money."

"The company said that over the next three months it will lay off employees involved in translating software as part of a package to save $40 million. About 15 people will remain to oversee manufacturing, a spokeswoman said."
