"In time for the Internet World trade show next week in New
York, Bowstreet is making available for free an open-source,
Java-based toolkit for the proposed Universal Description,
Discovery, and Integration (UDDI) standard, dubbed jUDDI,
company officials said Thursday."
"Bowstreet hopes jUDDI will help boost the prospects of its
Business Web Factory, which provides a way to automate the
construction of business-to-business e-commerce links, done on the
fly and known as "business webs."
"A downloadable version of jUDDI is available via www.juddi.org
, said Bowstreet officials; the jUDDI kit will also become part of
Web Factory. The jUDDI project (hosted by SourceForge) and UDDI
will complement the DSML (Directory Services Markup Language)
directory services standard push launched last year by Bowstreet,
IBM, Microsoft, Oracle, and the Sun-Netscape Alliance, Bowstreet
