Re-Imagining Linux Platforms to Meet the Needs of Cloud Service Providers

"theKompany.com has been working for the last four months on a database access layer called KDE-DB. Today theKompany.com has released this library into the KDE CVS tree for inclusion in core KDE."

"KDE-DB is a generic database access layer that offers a MS-DAO like interface to databases. There is no native database, thought, but the low level access is made through plugins. Actually there are plugins for MySQL (the most advanced one), Postgres and Informix. A plugin for a flat-file database is in future plans."

"theKompany.com is also pleased to announce the availability of KDE Studio version 2.0. KDE Studio is a flexible and easy to use Integrated Development Environment for KDE."
