With the official 2.4.0 kernel out, lots of folks are going to want to run it. The 2.4.0 UML runs the 2.4.0 kernel in a process, which means that you don't have to download and build the kernel and reboot your machine.

UML is a complete Linux kernel, with full virtual hardware support, including consoles, serial lines, network devices, and block devices.

It is available for download from http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=429
