Hewlett-Packard begins selling Linux desktops in BulgariaApr 14, 2001, 07:54 (11 Talkback[s])[ Thanks to Delyan Toshev for this link. ] According to the news from HP-Bulgaria, starting from April,11 2001, HP-Bulgaria begins selling desktop PC's with Linux installed. These PC's are targeted at small to medium sized businesses. This is part of the new HP initiative targeting Eastern European price-sensitive markets. The Linux-based models offered are called HP Brio BA410 Linux Limited Edition, installed with Linux Mandrake 7.2 as desktop OS, Linux applications (StarOffice 5.2, Adobe Acrobat Reader, Netscape Communicator 4.75, etc.).
