Re-Imagining Linux Platforms to Meet the Needs of Cloud Service Providers
" Microsoft is trying to brainwash everyone into believing
otherwise. More so, many tech writers expect us to eat up their
tales of Windows XP propaganda as if this is an experience we want
to go through again, but indeed it is not. Microsoft portrays
itself as a very successful company and many writers agree.
However, as I will explain below, Microsoft is neither successful
nor a hit anymore...."
"Lastly, we should not forget GNU, FSF and the rest of open
source. There's not a day that goes by that Linux doesn't tear into
the market head first with new innovation. As a Linux developer I
can tell you honestly the Linux OS is not only getting better, it
also currently crucifies Windows in availability and features. BSD,
forget it with almost full Linux compatibility BSD is screaming
with available software and hardware compatibility. Of course BeOS
is great also, and then there's the load of other OS' seldom heard
of Hurd(GNU), AtheOS, ReactOS (GNU-NT Compatible), etc. Microsoft
will eventually be its own undoing, primarily because it's so set
on opposing the way of the wind."
