"Overall, the parts selected for the Vorticon Workstation are of extremely high caliber and resemble the choice of a PC enthusiast. As I've stated before, many of the parts used in the Vorticon are used in our everyday test computer. Such as the Sound Blaster Live Value and VisionTek Geforce3 Ti 200, which may not necessarily be the best, but have proved to be highly reliable.

I believe one of the main features of the Vorticon is the two year warranty. Having a warranty always brings the peace of mind that if your computer has a problem, then there is always someone to back it up. You could this obtain from a local Best Buy, but the quality of service you receive from a chain store is usually much lower than a smaller company like Pogo Linux. But Pogo Linux is also large enough for you to be assured that they aren't going to go out of business the day after you buy a computer from them.

Another main aspect Pogo Linux offers that differs greatly from many other companies such as Hewlett Packard of Compaq, is the option to have Red Hat Linux setup on the computer as a default. Many times attempting to create a dual boot computer can become seriously complicated and ultimately end in a reformatted hard drive. Windows XP especially adds a few complications to the process and can be a daunting task to someone new to installing Linux."
