LinuxTag 2002: KDE presents Version 3.0.1 on OS X, Solaris

Desktop-as-a-Service Designed for Any Cloud ? Nutanix Frame
The KDE-Team has announced that it will be presenting two ports
of its latest release at LinuxTag 2002 for the first time to a
large public audience:
- On a Sun UltraSPARC 60 (which was thankfully loaned by Sun
- On an Apple iBook G4 with Mac OS X (sponsored by Apple Inc.)
the KDE 3.0.1 packages ported over by the Fink team wil be
Fink works on porting all important Free software to Apple
operating systems Darwin (Free) and Mac OS X (proprietary) which
both derive from a BSD-Unix background.
Also, both systems will be loaded with a CUPS installation, to
show the new interoperationality with Samba (including printer
driver download via "point and print").
The KDE Team is proud for these achievements. These
presentations are proof for the fact that KDE is not a "Linux-only"
desktop environment, but remains one for the whole realm of
LinuxTag 2002 will run from June 6-9, in Karlsruhe, Germany.
