"You might remember our earlier review of Lindows. We gave it a pretty thorough run down. Well the folks haven't been idle between now and then. The latest version of Lindows was just released and we were surprised to find that Lindows has jumped all the way from version 2.0 to version 3.0. That's quite a leap in so short a time.

"This release promises a number of tweaks and additions to Lindows. The Lindows developers have focused on stability and they've addressed the 'run as root' problem we highlighted in our earlier review by letting you add additional users, with different permission levels.

"Lindows also has increased video, printer, modem and wireless support... Bitstream fonts have been added and there is a new interface for monitor settings..."
