GNU Gengetopt 2.9

GNU Gengetopt 2.9 has been released.  It is available from
ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/gengetopt/ and mirrors of that site (see list of

GNU Gengetopt generates a C function that uses getopt_long function
to parse the command line options, validate them and fill a

    * fixed explicit rules in Makefiles that generated errors with some
      versions of non-GNU makes.
    * names in the generated #ifndef do not contain leading paths

GIMP 1.3.14

Hi GIMPers,

our latest release had some issues and we considered to do a quick
bug-fix release but I think it was worth to wait a little longer for
GIMP-1.3.14. Grab your copy from


Quite a few rather long-standing bugs have been fixed (thanks to the
help of Pedro Gimeno) and GIMP-1.3 is actually becoming quite useable
these days. Here's a short summary of changes. For a more complete
