"MIMOS Bhd which recently launched the Asian Open Source Centre,
an Asia-wide information hub for the development of open source
software, is confident that the centre would produce more
home-grown pool of software developers and in the process, save
billions of dollars for Asia.
"As indigenous softwares become commonplace in the region,
