Description

GNU Solfege is an eartraining program for GNOME. The 1.4.x releases are for GNOME1, 2.0.x are ported to GNOME2.

Major changes from 1.4.10:


  • Ported to GNOME2 and Gtk+ 2.0
  • above port give us full unicode support
  • lots of bugfixes and UI pollishing
  • nicer html widget for systems running without GNOME
  • chord-voicing exercise
  • better configure script ;-)
  • added lesson files, improving esp. the chord exercise.

Description

GnomeMeeting is an H.323 compatible videoconferencing and VOIP/IP-Telephony application that allows you to make audio and video calls to remote users with H.323 hardware or software (such as Microsoft Netmeeting). It supports all modern videoconferencing features, such as registering to an ILS directory, gatekeeper support, making multi-user conference calls using an external MCU, using modern Quicknet telephony cards, and making PC-To-Phone calls.

libgnomedb 0.99.0

libgda/libgnomedb 0.99.0 have been released.

libgda/libgnomedb are a complete framewok for developing database-oriented applications, and actually allow access to PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, Sybase, SQLite, FireBird/Interbase, IBM DB2, mSQL and MS SQL server, as well as MS Access and xBase files and ODBC data sources.

This release is RC1 for the final 1.0 release, so it should be almost identical as the final 1.0.

    note: people that build cvs need to manually checkout and install gstreamer and gst-plugins.

    note: ftp ftp.gnu.org got hacked a bunch of weeks ago and thus many files are not online anymore and require that people sent in md5sums so they get put online again. i first thought that these files may arrive really fast again but unfortunately this is not the case. thus i temporarely changed to a mirror which still has these files online.
