"With most things in life, the journey is often more important than the destination you reach. As someone who has got to a point in their life where technology plays an essential role each and every day, I sometimes reminisce about the journey travelled so far. Primitive recollections with early computers such as the Commodore 64, through to my first PC (an earth shattering 8086 beige monster), then on to my more recent introduction to Linux, the founding of Linux UK, joining the KDE project and onwards to professional Open Source advocacy and LUGRadio lunacy, all strike a smile when they enter my imagination.
