Mark Phippard has announced that Subversion 1.6 RC2 is
now available.
Changes in 1.6 include
* Improved handling of authentication data
* Repository root relative URLs
* Support for files in svn:externals
* Improved handling of tree conflicts
* Filesystem storage improvements
* Ctypes Python Bindings
* Improved interactive conflict resolution
* Logging support for svnserve
* Command-line client improvements
* API changes, improvements, and much language bindings work
