Linux.com: The Charles Kerr interview

[ Thanks to S.Ramaswamy for this link.

Charles Kerr is one of the primary developers of Pan, a
powerful newsreader for GNOME. Matt Eagleson is the creator of the
project, and Jason Leach is another of the primary
developers.

“What are the most significant features of Pan which
differentiates it from the other newsreaders for Linux?”

“Charles Kerr: First of all, we’re actively developed. There are
lots of dead and zombie newsreaders out there. We answer bug
reports, feature requests, and other feedback quickly, we have an
active mailing list, and so on.”

“As for the software features: we’re multithreaded, so you can
download binaries and read articles at the same time. We’re one of
the few new newsreaders interested in the Good Newskeeping Seal of
Approval (krn is the other I know of).”
