“Are you just like everyone else in the world? Are you sick of
receiving masses of junk email, also known as SPAM, every day?
There are several ways around this, one is to set up a filter using
your mail client or procmail, but this is only useful if you know
where the SPAM is coming from (which is, at best, a moving target).
There are a few services on the web that download your mail for
you, weed out the SPAM, and then deliver it for you. What’s the
catch you ask? Well, this is not a free service, it requires a
monthly fee. Surely there must be a free way to read your email
without the annoyance of SPAM. Well there is, and its called
SpamAssassin.
