On Saturday, August 9th — the weekend after LinuxWorld Expo
ends in San Francisco — Linux users will gather in Sunnyvale to
celebrate the operating system’s 12th birthday.
This year’s event, Picn*x12, is being coordinated by
the Silicon Valley, East Bay and Davis Linux Users Groups, and sbay.org, and is being sponsored
entirely by Oracle Corp.
The Linux picnic is a family-oriented social gathering, with
free food prepared by friendly volunteers. (An RSVP is
required.)
