“An agreement has been made with Corel in the UK to make LinuxIT
the main route to market for the new Corel Linux operating system.
Corel LINUX OS is being introduced to the UK by LinuxIT.”

“The Corel Linux Standard version is aimed primarily at the
desktop compared to the more server orientated market that is being
addressed by other vendors. LinuxIT will be working closely
with Corel in the UK to ensure maximum exposure and customer
awareness for Linux Software as it is introduced.

“Peter Dawes Sales Director of LinuxIT commented “We are
delighted to be assisting Corel in their first introduction to the
UK Linux market. Corel LINUX OS brings a needed desktop usability
and with the anticipation of their productivity and graphics
applications we expect to see in excess of the often quoted growth
of 25% CAGR (Compound Annual Growth – “Linux Operating Overview IDC
#18662, March 1999″), for Linux in 2000.”
