“I’ve been doing video work for about 18 months now, more or
less. Over that time, I have experimented with new effects here and
there and tried to do things that I had in mind and I have been
fairly successful each time. And over that time period, I’ve had
time to develop my toolkit of different types of effects.

“I’ll talk a little about the toolkits that I use as a base and
then discuss how they get incorporated into the scripts that must
created in order to actually use them. Typically these will be perl
scripts, so a working knowledge of perl is absolutely essential,
but you don’t have to know much more than for loops and file
operations.

library and that is because it has some very simple, easy to use,
yet powerful copying and pasting commands…”
