“Computer Data Strategies, Inc. (CDS), a developer of backup and
recovery software products for Windows NT, Windows 98, and OS/2, is
excited to announce that it will port its existing backup products
to Linux during 2000….”

“In addition, CDS also offers an Autoloader Support Module and
an Open File Handler agent for Back Again II Server. The Autoloader
Support Module adds the ability to control a wide range of tape
stackers, autoloaders, and libraries to handle the largest data
storage needs while the Open File Handler agent enables Back Again
II Server to perform live backups of open files such as Microsoft
Exchange and Lotus Notes data.”

During the year CDS will release a Linux agent, enabling
high speed network backup of a Linux client to a Back Again II
Server.
This solution will provide reliable data protection
for multi-platform installations with minimal administration.”
