PRNewswire: LinuxMall.com Opens International Distribution Center; Amsterdam…

“LinuxMall.com, the world’s largest supplier of Linux-related
products, has opened an international distribution center in
Amsterdam, Netherlands. The announcement was made today at the
Linux Business Expo/Spring COMDEX 2000 in Chicago.”

“The opening of the European distribution center is a key
component of the recently announced merger between LinuxMall.com
and Frank Kasper & Associates (FKA). The warehouse is
located just south of Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport in Amsteelveen,
an area known as the “transportation hub” of Europe.

Approximately 11,000 square feet, the warehouse will most likely
double in size in the near future.”

“Frank Kasper, recently named chief operating officer of
LinuxMall.com, will manage all of the operational details and
international activities of the European distribution center (FKA
Software Europe B.V.). Kasper is a leader in the distribution of
Linux products worldwide, building his self-financed company from
start-up to a booming business in 1999. The Netherlands warehouse
will stock Linux OS distributions, utilities, applications,
documentation, games and soft goods. Shipping costs will be
approximately half of the U.S. rate.”
