Libranet 2.8
[ Thanks to Bruce
Miller for this link. ]
In the words of its own developers, “Libranet is a Debian based
system with the added advantages of a super easy install, solid
support, configuration setup, system management functions and a
collection of applications guaranteed to keep your interest”.
Libranet’s developers merit their price premium over freely
available Debian through the installer, through combining the
robustness of Debian stable with more up-to-date applications
(Kernel 2.4.20, XFree86 4.3.0, KDE 3.1.1, GNOME 2.2.1, Mozilla 1.3,
OpenOffice.org 1.0.2, ext3, ReiserFS) and through well-written
system management applications.
The default install gives users full access to the entire Debian
distribution and package management.
