Hello everybody,
I released today 2.4.17-2 (also called 2.4.17-pthreads because it finally
gives full compatibility with the pthreads library) with the following changelog:
- fixed too many open files problem (re-appeared after being fixed in 2.4.16)
- fixed libpthread segmentation fault problem
- Fixed a few races in old MFS code
- Made load balancing smoother
- Made yardstick 1000Mhz
Go get your pre-chewed rpms from http://openmosix.sourceforge.net or hand-roll
your own kernel by downloading the source from CVS. Please do not mix versions
within your cluster, in the best of cases, migration will simply not work.
Report any bugs to the openMosix mailing list.
Many thanks
Moshe Bar
