Gnumeric 1.1.5
Gnumeric 1.1.5 aka 'there is no release #4' is now available.
Lots of fun tibits in here. Most noteably, Andreas has been kicking the
printing system into shape so things now work reasonably well, and should
be alot more usable than 1.0.x. Jon Kåre's work has paid of in spades,
Gnumeric can now be embedded in nautilus and libgnumeric is shaping up
nicely.
NOTE : We have disabled building 1.1 using gcc-2.96. There are a few known
areas where the compiler shipped with RH/Mandrake was causing numeric
inaccuracies in gnumeric. If you don't mind that feel free to manually
remove the prohibition.
WARNING WARNING WARNING
NOTE : This is a DEVELOPMENT RELEASE it is not supposed to be stable We do
not warrant that it will not cause you, your dog, or your father's
garter belt, to burst into flame.

Gnumeric 1.0.7
Gnumeric 1.0.7 is now available.
This is a bug fix release, new development is being done in version 1.1.x
based on gnome2. This is a high priority update for a couple of reasons
- A patch in 1.0.6 broke xls export of empty strings. This fixes that
and enables those file to be read by Gnumeric.
- The translators hard work has paid off, the function manual has now
been shipped in translated form to 12 languages.
- An oft requested feature to support 1 click import of tab delimited
files has been added. No need to use the import guru for simple
things anymore.
Many thanks to Ray Dassen (Debian maintainer) for helping to improve
portability and patching niggly warnings from gcc-3.1
NOTE : http:
Although I have never been able to reproduce this I suspect it has been
patched. For those of you who were experiencing this crash _please_
test 1.0.7. I'd like to close the report.

A new release of the intltool package is available; this time codenamed
"Så blev det endelig min fødselsdag! jubii, sikke en masse gaver". The
intltool package is a set of tools for translating the contents of data
files using the gettext translation framework.
As always we suggest everyone to upgrade.
Some of the changes in intltool since version 0.21:
- Add detection of glade2 files in -m mode (Abel Cheung).
- Force intltool-update to exit if POTFILES.in is not found (Abel
Cheung).
- Made schemas extraction code more bulletproof (Kenneth).
- Added support for translation of descriptions used by ATK in glade
files (Kenneth)
You can find the source code for intltool 0.22 on gnome ftp:
If you have problems with intltool, please report bugs at
bugzilla.gnome.org.

libglade-2.0.0
I have just released libglade 2.0.0, available at:
http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/earthquake/sources/libglade/libglade-2.0.0.tar.gz
This is the first stable release targetted at GTK 2.0, and is part of
the upcomming GNOME 2.0 developer platform. There are not many changes
between this release and the previous one (1.99.12). The main one is
some updates to the documentation (some of the gtk-doc stuff got broken
when I was updating things a while back).
