Improved the SQL module, including a new native IBM DB2 driver, complete support for stored procedures (including the possibility to access out-parameters), native support for 64 bit fields without having to convert to or from strings, an extended SQL cursor class (for displaying result sets from general SQL queries), and support for setting connection parameters; QLineEdit (added support for validation input masks); Unicode support (including full support for Indic scripts and Syriac); the performance of the drawText() function; the Qt Motif Extension (dialog handling and documentation / examples); the ActiveQt Extension (support for byte arr! ays and 64-bit integers, Qt Designer integration, etc.); Qt Designer (popup menu editor, custom container widgets, the property editor, etc.); and Qt Assistant (profiles for using as a help system, tabs, etc.). The Qt version 3.2 series is binary compatible with the 3.1.x series. Applications compiled for 3.1 will continue to run with 3.2. |
