Where’s The First Firefox 3 Beta?

“Firefox 3 was originally slated to arrive last summer.
Obviously that didn’t happen, but where is the first beta, which
even on revised roadmaps was said to arrive in October? Well the
answer is it’s just around the corner. According to Mozilla Meeting
notes, the third candidate for official beta 1 status is already up
on the FTP servers, and Friday November 15 will mark the second
round of community testing.

“The first round of testing went well according to Mozilla, and
unless tomorrow’s testers find some huge bug in the third release
candidate, we’ll likely see beta 1 emerge over the weekend or early
next week at the latest…”
