  • Enterprise Linux Today: SAS Institute Brings S/390 Cross Compilers to Linux (2001-03-06 14:50:00)
    SAS plans to introduce its SAS/C and SAS/C++ cross-platform compilers to Linux, allowing IBM mainframe applications to be created and compiled on non-mainframe development hosts. In addition to making it easier for Linux developers to code enterprise-class applications for IBM mainframes, it may presage a release of tools for Linux on the S/390 as well. Scott Courtney reports.
