Thanks to JIANG Xiong for this report.
In spite of the heavy rain in daytime, a Linux Eve party was still successfully held at the fountain square of Friendship Hotel, Beijing. Organized by Beijing Linux Club and sponsored by Shida-Langxin corp., this party gathered around several hundreds of Linux fans, Chinese Linux developers and attracted the sight from news media, and commercial companies.
TurboLinux developer FANG, Han (Daniel Fang), Chinese Xteam Linux team leader REN, Yi, the master of the first China free software news server and archive site freesoft.cei.gov.cn, ZHANG, Lu, and other VIPs presented warm greetings to all the guests. Pacific High-Tech (PHT) contributed TurboLinux 3.0.2 suites as the award for the lottery interludes.
The exciting things for me were a Linux router as small as a book (pity that I did not have a camera. :) and a little boy (6 years old ?) won a TurboLinux 3.0.2 suite. :)
