PC Week: Motorola to climb aboard Linux bandwagon

"Motorola Computer Group next week will announce a major partnership with Caldera Inc.'s two major divisions, Caldera Systems Inc. and Lineo, according to sources.

"Lineo, the former Caldera Thin Clients that recently renamed itself and shifted focus from DR-DOS embedded technology to embedded Linux, is developing Embedix, a version of Caldera Systems' OpenLinux for the embedded market. Motorola is primarily focused on working with Embedix, the sources said."
