"Microsoft Corp., Redmond, Wash., will offer Windows NT 4.0 in an embedded version for thin-client vendors, company executives said recently."

"Microsoft divided the Windows-based thin-client market into two standard families. The Windows-Based Terminal (WBT) standard, based on Windows CE, currently is being used by thin-client vendors. WBT Professional will be based on Windows NT Embedded 4.0 when it becomes commercially available early next year..."
