"Users who are eager to try out the Linux operating system but
don't have a lot of technical know-how may have a friend in
LinuxOne Inc. The software firm said Tuesday it has released a
version of Linux that has been simplified especially for first-time
users of the OS.
Called LinuxOne Lite, the software is aimed chiefly at curious
PC enthusiasts, and may also be popular with educators and
businesses who want a version of the open-source operating system
that's easy to set up and use in a training environment, the
company said in a statement issued Tuesday."
