Linux.com: The Brad Hughes interview

Jan 06, 2000, 08:20 (0 Talkback[s])

"Brad Hughes...is the creator of the Blackbox window manager, built with C++, and sharing no common code with any other window manager."

"Linux.com: When did you start the BlackBox project?"

"Brad Hughes: I started Blackbox back in July 1997, with no real intentions of it being a "project." I still don't consider it a "project." I'm the only person that really does any serious coding on blackbox, but there are people out there like the Themes.org people, John Kennis, Jason Kasper, and others who make up the Blackbox community."

"Linux.com: What was your motivation to write BlackBox?"

"Brad Hughes: Just to learn."
