"K-Team (Switzerland), miniature mobile robots, has announced that it is supporting the embedded Linux community by providing "Video for Linux" (V4L) drivers that support PC/104 and other video capture boards in robot vision applications."

"K-Team is actively promoting real-time Linux as an operating system for autonomous robotics. However, robotics application development is currently limited by the small number of video capture devices supported under Linux. By supporting video capture cards compatible with the PC/104 standard, K-Team aims at advancing their use in miniature autonomous robotics. The K-Team drivers support the "Video for Linux 2" (V4L2) standard."
