"TurboLinux(R), Inc., the high performance Linux company, announced today that it has established TurboLabs, an advanced computing laboratory based in Santa Fe, New Mexico with a research and development focus on Linux and clustering for the enterprise."

"TurboLinux is building a team of core technology architects to address the demands facing computing and Linux in the enterprise," said Cliff Miller, CEO of TurboLinux. "We look forward to working closely with the Open Source community in helping to scale Linux for high-end enterprise applications."

"TurboLabs is directed by Peter Beckman, founder of the Extreme Linux series of workshops and activities. Beckman was most recently a senior computer scientist at the Advanced Computing Laboratory at Los Alamos National Laboratory and served on the Executive Committee for the Los Alamos Computer Science Institute."
