"The AUUG conference this year is subtitled "Enterprise Security, Enterprise Linux" and includes a wide range of speakers on subjects including Apache 2.0, The E-Smith server and gateway, Samba 3.0 Internals, and one slightly puzzling talk on "How Many Penguins Does It Take To Sell A House?"

"The SAGE-AU conference, running the next week at Bond University on the Gold Coast, is tilted towards system administrators of all levels of experience and on all platforms, but has a fair proportion of open source content."

"Interestingly, the two conferences share a keynote speaker. Mark White of Red Hat will be presenting "The Open Source Ecosystem" at both events. The E-Smith talk also gets a repeat performance, and intersection between the two lists of speakers is quite large."
