Re-Imagining Linux Platforms to Meet the Needs of Cloud Service Providers
"I challenge you to help me stump the geek stars this August
at the LinuxWorld Conference & Expo! I have the privilege
of hosting the first annual Geek Bowl at LinuxWorld Expo next month
in San Jose, Calif. The event takes place on Tuesday, August 15
from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Two teams of six contestants each will
square off to answer geek trivia questions. We have a brilliant
panel of stars lined up: Jeremy Allison, Larry Augustin, Bodo
Bauer, Scott Draeker, Jon "maddog" Hall, Miguel de Icaza, Robert
LeBlanc, Ransom Love, Bruce Perens, Eric Raymond, Jay Sulzberger,
and Bob Young!"
"Here's where you come in. Send me any geek-related trivia
questions you'd like to see included in this contest.
(Remember to include the correct answers to your questions!) I'll
select the best questions and pose them to the stars at the Expo.
LinuxWorld will also print all the questions I've selected as a
separate quiz (along with the correct answers) after the Geek Bowl
takes place. And, with your permission, LinuxWorld will credit you
for your submissions in that article."
"I'll consider just about any question under the sun, as long as
it's reasonably geek-related or just plain fun. The questions will
be sorted into four categories: Ridiculously Easy, Medium,
Difficult, and Bizarre. Here are some sample questions to give you
an idea of the range I will consider..."
