something to be happy about for me but not really all that exciting
for readers. So this article will be a brief look at the best of
OutRider in the last year, some of the stuff that I have been able
to do as a result of OutRider and the obligatory "what the future
may hold" bit."
"In the last year the following articles have generated the most
interaction from readers which speaks much more than hits
- The Text Based
Interface: By far this article generated the most feedback, the
most discussion and was perhaps the most misconstrued. Many readers
thought it was about why a text based interface was superior to
graphical ones when it was not. oh well.
Overview of the /proc Filesystem: A lot of people liked this
article for the information (which at the time was sort of hard to
get). To be honest, many of the outbound links are better.
Management Commands: Alot of readers gave me a quick "Thanks
for the reference dude" - you are most certainly welcome.

Typesetting Practices: I got a lot of great ideas from this
article. Many readers really enjoyed sharing their ideas about
typesetting source, I definitely enjoyed the interaction in this
Window Managers: I was somewhat surprised since this article
was so short, I am guessing most people used it as a
"Well, that is all cool to talk about the best, but I am not
above the worst of OutRider!..."
