Re-Imagining Linux Platforms to Meet the Needs of Cloud Service Providers
"I decided to camp out in the Uber Haxor track today as a
friend of mine was presenting a paper. The most memorable of the
talks were Palm Data Protection by Adam Bresson and 8-bit redux:
Microcontroller hacking by Phil King."
"The Palm Data Protection talked about the potential problems of
having your Palm have infrared networking turned on, and how it can
be a pathway to hacking. Most of the problems have to do with the
simplicity of Palm OS. An interesting talk that anybody with a Palm
should review when it makes it onto the Defcon media site."
"8-bit redux : Microcontroller hacking was a great talk. I
learned something from Phil about how to present, if you can make
the talk FUN, people will really respond to it. I enjoyed this talk
a whole lot and I mention it down below in the Grothe Awards
