Re-Imagining Linux Platforms to Meet the Needs of Cloud Service Providers
"Red Hat, Inc., the leader in open source Internet
infrastructure solutions, today released the schedule for their
showcase of open source experts, partners and demonstrations at the
LinuxWorld Conference & Expo located at the San Jose Convention
Center in San Jose, California."
"At the presentation theater at Red Hat's booth, Red Hat
will demonstrate the new Red Hat High Availability Server 1.0, a
specialized version of the award-winning Red Hat Linux 6.2
solution. The High Availability Server delivers dynamic load
balancing, improved fault tolerance and scalability of TCP/IP based
applications. The demonstration will prove that if one server in
the cluster fails, another will automatically take over its
workload. Presentation times are Aug. 15 and 16 at 1:30 pm and Aug.
17 at 10:30 am."
"Also in the presentation theater, Bob Young, co-founder and
chairman, will present "The Secret to the Success of Linux," Aug.
16 at 11:30 am. Michael Tiemann, Red Hat CTO, and Kim Knuttila,
vice president and general manager, Client Services, will discuss
"Developing Embedded Solutions with Red Hat Linux," Aug. 16 at
11:30 am and Aug. 17 at 12:30 pm. Finally, GNOME experts Owen
Taylor and Havoc Pennington will address "GUI Development on Red
Hat Linux," Aug. 16 at 10:30 am, Aug. 17 and 18 at 3:30 pm."
