"CollabNet, a leading provider of collaborative software development services based on open source principles, and Indrema Corporation, creator of the first Linux-based video game and digital entertainment platform, today announced they will build the Indrema Developer Network (IDN), an online developer community and support network for the Indrema Entertainment System (IES) platform."

"The Indrema Developer Network will bring together the tools and community resources necessary to drive development of next-generation video game titles for the IES. The IES is Indrema's Linux-based video game and digital home entertainment platform that offers the most comprehensive range of TV-based home entertainment applications, including high performance 3D gaming, DVD, broadband internet connectivity, personal music library, Web browsing, email, and personal TV."

"CollabNet is developing the entire infrastructure for the IDN and also providing consulting services to Indrema. The site will feature an online collaborative development engine built on CollabNet's SourceCastSM platform - a complete solution comprised of open source tools and proven development practices, which have been customized to enable global collaborative software development projects. SourceCast will allow Indrema to present a cohesive Web-based, open source development platform that offers simple, powerful and intuitive access to features including: code versioning, source code browsing, automatic change notification, mailing lists and discussion forums and issue tracking Web administration."
