LinuxPR: Hundreds Sign Up For Sair Linux, Inc.'s Free Boot Camps, Testing At LinuxWorld Expo

Aug 14, 2000, 22:22 (1 Talkback[s])

"More than 275 IT professionals have signed up for free on-site Linux training and certification offered by Sair Linux, Inc. at the LinuxWorld Conference and Expo. That number could easily double as the conference gets underway today at the San Jose Convention Center."

"Sair announced in June that it would offer free boot camps and testing for the Sair Linux and GNU Linux Certified Administrator (LCA) level during all four days of the LinuxWorld convention. Those who signed up in advance have received Sair Linux and GNU Certification training materials in the mail. The boot camps will include in-depth reviews of those materials, immediately followed by on-site testing delivered by Thomson Prometric."

"The response has been overwhelming," said Sair founder and president Dr. Tobin Maginnis. "We knew the offer would be well-received, but even we were slightly taken aback as the phone calls and e-mails started pouring in. The demand for Linux training and certification is growing every day, and Sair is uniquely positioned and qualified to meet that demand. By the end of LinuxWorld, Sair will doubtlessly be recognized as the industry standard."
