"Linuxlab announced today its new 800 MHz ThinRackTM 4-in-1 server configuration. When combined with the Linuxlab FarManTM management software, the new 4-in-1 provides the most advanced Linux-based server-clustering solution available."

"In February at the Intranets 2000 Expo in San Jose engineers from Linuxlab unveiled the first 1U server box to hold four independent servers. As the first of its kind, the Linuxlab 4-in-1 saves valuable space for server farms by placing up to 160 servers in a standard six-foot equipment rack. This hardware design conserves up to 75 percent of the space required by traditional single-server configurations."

"Saving floor space permits additional racks to hold hundreds of extra servers. For busy e-commerce sites, this means four racks can hold up to 640 servers, while traditional configurations hold only 160 servers in the same space."
