leader, today announced the availability of the VA Linux 4450
server, offering fast data-processing power in a rack-optimized 4U
(7-inch-high) form factor."
"The VA Linux 4450 is powered by four Intel Pentium III Xeon
processors at 700 MHz and is designed specifically to serve as a
robust database platform for enterprise databases such as
Oracle8i. The 4450 server can also be used for e-commerce
sites, application serving, software development, ERP (enterprise
resource planning), web hosting and clustering."
