"Embarcadero Technologies and Red Hat, the leader in open source internet infrastructure solutions, today announced the immediate availability of Embarcadero's ER/Studio, Rapid SQL and DBArtisan database management solutions for Red Hat Linux. Embarcadero's ER/Studio 4.0, Rapid SQL 5.5, and DBArtisan 5.1 offer complete database lifecycle support for design, development and administration of critical applications and their underlying databases."

"The Embarcadero solution is an important component for customers migrating to Red Hat Linux and looking for web-database management answers," said Michael Tiemann, Chief Technology Officer of Red Hat. "The DBArtisan product provides the 'missing link' for database managers to migrate databases from one SQL environment to another and to optimize those databases as part of, or after, the migration. We are excited to have their award winning products available on Redhat.com and anticipate even more products from Embarcadero that will continue to enhance the Linux community."

"We recognize that our customers are making Linux a more critical part of their infrastructure and we are responding by making it a key supported platform for our products," said Raj Sabhlok, Embarcadero's senior vice president of finance and corporate development. "By working with Red Hat, customers can be assured they will have access to premier solutions to assist in the development and management of database applications on Linux."
