"OpenOne Corporation today announced a major simplification to
its MailOne e-mail server software licensing model. The new
licensing model removes separate licensing requirements for the
server, user mailbox licenses, and the MAPI driver. Under the
new licensing, a MailOne software license now includes the server
license, an unlimited number of personal use mailbox licenses on
that server, and the MAPI driver license used to connect Exchange
clients to the MailOne server."
"MailOne is an internet standards-based e-mail server that delivers
a consistent set of messaging services to users with different
desktop environments and e-mail applications. It is an open
messaging system that supports leading international and industry
messaging standards. MailOne is currently available for Linux,
Compaq Tru64 UNIX and IBM AIX. MailOne is available for purchase,
as well as for use by Application Service Providers looking to add
Linux-based e-mail as an ASP service."
